Electro Titan — Clash of Clans

Elixir troop

The Electro Titan is a heavy ground unit that damages targets with a chaining electric attack and continues to deal damage around it while it fights. It is expensive in housing space and correspondingly powerful.

What it does

It combines very high hitpoints with a chaining electrical attack that spreads damage between nearby targets. In practice that means an Electro Titan grinding through a compartment is damaging several buildings at once, and any defending troops that come near take damage simply for being close.

It is slow and enormously expensive in housing space, so armies containing one contain very little else.

How to use it

Treat it as the centrepiece rather than as support.

How to beat it

Sustained single-target damage plus geometry. Defences that ramp their damage against a single target are the direct counter, and a heavily compartmented base wastes the time of a slow unit, which is functionally the same as defeating it. Keeping defending troops away from its aura also matters, since they take damage passively near it.

Frequently asked

What does the Electro Titan's aura do?

Its chaining electrical attack spreads damage to nearby targets while it fights, so it damages several buildings at once and harms defending troops that come near it rather than only its primary target.

Is the Electro Titan worth the housing space?

Only in armies built deliberately around it, since at that cost you can field very little else. It is a war unit for breaking into a defended core, not a farming unit.
