A Clash of Clans bot is a program that plays the grindy part of the game for you, finding matches, deploying troops, collecting loot, so your storages fill while you sleep. This guide covers how modern bots actually work, what happened to the old free bots, the real ban risk, and what to look for if you want one that still works in 2026.

What good bots deliberately don't do: modify the game client, inject code, or talk to Supercell's servers directly. Those approaches are trivially detectable and get accounts banned fast. Screen-reading bots look like a very patient human.
For years the default answer was MyBot.run, free, open source, Windows-only. Emulator updates and game UI changes gradually broke it, and community maintenance stalled. Automation violates Supercell's Terms of Service. Full stop. Any bot seller who tells you there is zero risk is lying to you. What you can do is minimize risk: use a screen-reading bot (no client modification), keep sessions human-plausible, and ideally farm on an account you could stand to lose.
