Can You Get Banned for Botting Clash of Clans?

Updated: 24 August 2026

Yes. That's the answer, and any page that opens differently is lying to you. Botting violates Supercell's Terms of Service, Supercell bans accounts for it, and no tool, including ours, changes either fact. We sell a Clash of Clans bot, which gives us every commercial incentive to soften this page. We're not going to, because the sales pitch that "our bot is 100% safe and undetectable" is the single most reliable sign that you're dealing with someone dishonest.

What we can do is explain how the risk actually works, because "risky" is not one thing. There's a spectrum, and where a bot sits on it matters enormously.

What the rules actually say

Supercell's Terms of Service prohibit using the service with any automation, third-party software, bots, or unauthorized tools that modify or interfere with the game. There is no gray area here: every farming bot, every tap script, every auto-attacker breaks these terms. The consequences Supercell reserves for itself range up to permanent account bans. Whether and when they act on a given account is their call, made with information you and we don't have, which is exactly why nobody outside Supercell can honestly promise you an outcome.

The risk spectrum: not all bots are equally reckless

The word "bot" covers wildly different engineering, and the differences are what determine detectability.

High risk: mod clients and memory editors

Some tools modify the Clash of Clans client itself, inject code into the running game, edit its memory, or speak directly to (or spoof) game servers. These are the tools behind "private servers," resource hacks, and signed-APK mods. From an anti-cheat perspective they are loud: the game binary is altered, the client behaves in ways no legitimate install can, and the evidence is sitting right there in the process. Detection of this category is a solved problem, and using it is how accounts get banned quickly. Some of these tools are also malware risks in their own right, you're running a stranger's modified game client with your account logged in.

Lower risk: screen-reading tap simulators

The other category never touches the game. The bot runs outside an unmodified, stock Clash of Clans installed from the Play Store inside an emulator. It takes screenshots, uses computer vision to recognize what's on screen, and sends ordinary taps and swipes back through the emulator's input channel. The game client is untouched. Nothing talks to Supercell's servers except the legitimate game itself, doing exactly what it does when a human plays.

From the server's point of view, this looks like a patient human on an emulator, and note that playing CoC on an emulator is itself commonplace. What remains detectable is behavior: play patterns no human sustains, like attacking with machine-perfect regularity 24 hours a day for weeks. That's why this category is lower risk, and also why it will never be zero risk: sufficiently inhuman behavior is visible no matter how clean the technical footprint is.

Minimizing risk (not eliminating it)

If you've read this far and still intend to bot, these are the practices that actually reduce your footprint:

Where Goblins Farm honestly stands

Goblins Farm is in the second category by design: it reads the emulator screen with template matching and OCR, simulates taps and swipes, and that's all. No modified client, no code injection, no memory editing, no communication with Supercell's servers. It farms in sessions toward targets you set and stops when it reaches them.

And still: using Goblins Farm violates Supercell's Terms of Service and can get your account banned. The design minimizes footprint; it does not grant immunity, and we won't pretend otherwise. We don't publish ban-rate statistics because we have no honest way to measure them, and neither does anyone else selling a bot. If that honesty costs us a sale to someone who wanted a comfortable lie, that's fine. The decision to bot is yours, and it should be an informed one.

If you've weighed the risk and want the tool with the smallest footprint we know how to build, screen-reading only, farm-to-target stopping, on Mac and Windows, here it is.
