Search for the best Clash of Clans bot 2026 and you get a wall of affiliate spam and decade-old forum threads. This page is different: we make one of the bots on this list, and we will tell you that up front. The rest of the comparison is honest, because the honest comparison is still a good one for us. Here is what actually exists in 2026, what each option is good at, and where each one falls down.
One rule applies to everything below: all automation violates Supercell's Terms of Service. There is no safe bot and no undetectable bot, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something dishonestly. If ban risk on your account is unacceptable, do not bot. MyBot.run was the standard answer for years, and it earned that. It is free, open source, and genuinely full-featured: attack strategies, loot filtering, donation handling. If you are on Windows, enjoy tinkering, and do not mind downtime, it is still worth knowing about.
The problem is maintenance. MyBot is community-maintained, and that community activity has stalled. Every Clash of Clans update that moves a button or changes a screen can break a vision-based bot, and with MyBot there is no one on the hook to ship a fix. In practice that means it is frequently broken after game updates, sometimes for long stretches. It is also Windows-only, so Mac users are out entirely. Generic auto clickers, on mobile or in an emulator, replay taps at fixed positions on a timer. They have no idea what is on screen. They cannot tell a village from a defeat screen, cannot skip a dead base, and cannot recover when a popup appears. Setting one up to do anything useful in Clash of Clans takes hours of fiddling, and the result still falls apart the moment anything unexpected happens. They are free or cheap, but they are not really game bots, they are macros with no game logic. High effort, low reward.
Do not touch these. Modified game clients alter the actual game software, which is about the most detectable thing you can do and puts your account at very high ban risk. The honest way to pick a bot in 2026 is not feature lists, it is two questions: who fixes it when the game updates, and does it run on your machine?
A vision-based bot is only as good as its last update. MyBot's features are real, but features you cannot run this week are worth nothing, and its maintenance situation means broken weeks are the norm, not the exception. Auto clickers never worked well for this game. Mod clients fail the basic risk test.
That leaves maintained, screen-reading tools.
