Dark Elixir Farming Bot, Fixing the Slowest Grind in CoC

Updated: 24 August 2026

Gold and elixir problems solve themselves eventually. Dark elixir does not. It is the late-game bottleneck of Clash of Clans, the currency behind every hero level, and the one resource where manual farming genuinely feels like a second job. This page covers why DE farming is so slow by hand and how a farming bot turns it into something you set up once and forget.

Why dark elixir is the bottleneck

From Town Hall 7 onward, your real progress is measured in hero levels, and heroes eat dark elixir in enormous, ever-growing bites. Meanwhile the game hands DE out in eyedropper doses:

Put those together and you get the grindiest loop in the game: skip, skip, skip, skip, find one base with meaningful DE, fight for it, retrain, repeat. Doing that for one hero level is tedious. Doing it for a full set of hero upgrades across a Town Hall is hundreds of attacks.

What manual DE farming actually looks like

The classic manual routine is well known: run a cheap army, nexting through opponents and spending most of your session staring at the loot preview waiting for a number worth attacking. The skipping is the job. You might tap "next" thirty times before one base justifies a deployment, and each skip costs search gold and a few seconds of your attention. It is exactly the kind of repetitive, judgment-light loop that humans are bad at sustaining and software is built for.

How a bot farms dark elixir

Goblins Farm runs Clash of Clans inside the free BlueStacks emulator on Windows or macOS, reads the screen with computer vision, and simulates taps. It never modifies the game client. For dark elixir specifically, three settings do the work:

1. A separate dark elixir threshold

You do not set one blended "loot" bar. Gold, elixir, and dark elixir each get their own minimum. Set the DE threshold to a level that means "this base actually has dark elixir worth taking" and the bot will next past everything below it, all night, without getting bored or lowering its standards at 1 a.m. the way a human does. Bases with fat gold but zero DE get skipped too, if DE is what you are hunting.

2. A dark elixir target

Pick the number you are farming toward, typically the cost of your next hero upgrade, on the target slider. The bot attacks, collects, retrains, and keeps going until your storage hits that number.

3. Auto-stop

When the target is reached, the bot stops on its own. It does not farm forever and draw attention, and you do not wake up to find it looped through another hundred pointless attacks. Start the upgrade, set the next target, go again. You can also monitor and stop it from your phone through ntfy.sh remote control.

Realistic expectations, no invented numbers

Any site quoting a fixed "DE per hour" figure is making it up. Dark elixir income per attack varies hugely with your league and trophy range, the time of day, and above all how many dead bases with full drills happen to be in your search pool at that moment. Some sessions you will hit a run of abandoned bases with overflowing drills, other sessions the pool is thin. What a bot changes is not the per-attack number, it is the volume: it runs the skip-and-attack loop for hours at a consistent standard, so the variance averages out and the storage fills while you do literally anything else. Your league choice still matters as much as it does for manual farming, and the trade-offs are covered in our general farming guide.

The honest part

Automation violates Supercell's Terms of Service. That applies to every bot, including this one, and the risk of a ban is never zero. Goblins Farm minimizes that risk by reading the screen and simulating human-like taps only, with no client modification, no code injection, and no direct server communication, but minimized is not eliminated. Read the full, marketing-free version on our ban risk page before you decide.

Set a DE target, walk away

Goblins Farm is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: lifetime licenses at 60 EUR for main village farming, 60 EUR for Builder Base, or 100 EUR for both. It runs on Windows and macOS as a signed, notarized app, with per-resource loot thresholds, gold, elixir, and dark elixir targets, and auto-stop when targets are reached.
