A farming bot runs on a computer at home. You are, most of the day, not at that computer. That gap is where most botting anxiety lives: is it still running? Did it hit the target? Did an update break something at 2 a.m.? Each notification carries action buttons: Stop halts the bot, Start launches a session, Status asks the bot to report what it's doing right now. Tapping a button on your phone controls the app on your computer, from anywhere with an internet connection.
The plumbing is ntfy.sh, a free and open publish-subscribe notification service. The model is simple: messages are published to a named topic, and anything subscribed to that topic receives them as push notifications. No account needed on either end, and nothing for you to host.
Goblins Farm generates a private, random topic name for your installation. The topic name is effectively a shared secret, it isn't listed anywhere, and only devices that know it can read your notifications or send commands. The bot publishes status messages to the topic and listens on it for the Stop/Start/Status commands your phone's buttons send back. Reclaim your village when you want to play. Feel like an evening of real attacks? Tap Stop from the couch. No walking to the computer, no yanking the emulator out from under a mid-attack bot.
Get pinged when storages hit target. Set your gold and elixir targets with the sliders, start the bot, and forget about it, the "target reached" push is your cue to log in and spend the loot on upgrades. The same applies to Builder Base sessions, which stop on their own targets or when the night village storages are full.
Sleep through the errors, but see them at breakfast. If something breaks overnight, the error push timestamps exactly when, and a Status tap tells you where things stand before you decide whether it needs you at all.
There's also a practical botting-hygiene angle. A bot that runs unattended forever because stopping it is inconvenient is a bot that farms long past its targets. Cheap, instant remote stopping means you actually run the bot the way you intended: to a target, then done. It pairs with Goblins Farm's automatic stop conditions to keep sessions bounded.
