Revive Spell — Clash of Clans

Spells

Elixir

Updated: 18 September 2026 · By the Goblins Farm team

Revive returns a fallen unit to the battlefield, which changes the arithmetic of committing an expensive hero or unit early. Knowing you have a second chance makes aggressive openings viable.

What it does

The spell restores a lost unit to the attack. Because the units worth reviving are the expensive ones, its practical effect is that a hero or heavy unit can be committed to a risky opening rather than held back.

Frequently asked

What does the Revive Spell do?

It returns a fallen unit to the battlefield, which mainly matters for heroes and expensive units. Its real effect is strategic: knowing a second chance exists makes aggressive openings worth taking.

Is the Revive Spell worth a slot?

When your attack plan deliberately risks a hero early, yes. As a general safety net it is poor value, because spell slots are scarce and reviving a unit that was not going to change the outcome achieves nothing.
