The Archer Queen attacks at long range and deals very high damage, but has far less health than the King. Paired with Healers she becomes the single most reliable attacking tool in Clash of Clans, capable of clearing a substantial part of a base by herself.

What she does

She attacks from range with high damage output and has an ability that combines a burst of power with survivability. Her low hitpoints mean she cannot brawl, but her range means she often does not have to.

The Queen walk

The technique that defines her: deploy the Queen with a group of Healers behind her and let her advance slowly, killing defences from range while the Healers keep her alive. Done properly she can clear a flank, kill a key defence, or do the entire funnel on her own before the main army goes in.

Deploy the Healers once she is engaged, so they immediately have something to heal.
Plan for anti-air. Healers die to Air Defences, and the moment they die the walk ends. Route her away from anti-air, or remove it first.
Know when to stop. A Queen walk that has done its job should not be allowed to wander into the core; that is what a Recall Spell is for.

Upgrading her

If you can only upgrade one hero, most players get more out of levelling the Archer Queen than anything else, because the Queen walk scales directly with her level and appears in a huge proportion of successful attacks. She is upgraded with dark elixir and is unavailable while upgrading.
