The Royal Champion attacks defences specifically and leaps over walls to reach them. That combination makes her the most self-directing hero: she goes to the buildings that matter without needing a funnel built for her.

What she does

She prefers defences, moves at range, and jumps walls rather than pathing around them. Her ability delivers a burst of damage to a target. Because she seeks defences, she can be sent into a base with a clear expectation of where she will go, which is unusual.

How to use her

• Send her at a defensive cluster, since she will move between defences directly.
• Support her. She is durable but not a tank, and a Royal Champion alone in the core dies to concentrated fire.
• Time the ability on a high-value defence, not on whatever she happens to be hitting.

Upgrading her

Because she targets defences and ignores walls, her contribution is very consistent across different base layouts, which makes her levels reliably valuable rather than situationally so. Upgraded with dark elixir, unavailable while upgrading.
