Haste Spell — Clash of Clans

Spells

Dark Elixir

Updated: 18 September 2026 · By the Goblins Farm team

Haste increases movement speed for troops in its radius but does not increase damage. It costs far less spell housing than Rage, which makes it the efficient choice whenever the problem is the clock rather than the damage.

What it does

Troops inside the circle move faster for the duration. No damage bonus. Because it is a dark spell, it takes much less spell housing than Rage, so you can carry several.

When to use it instead of Rage

Ask what actually failed in your last attack.

Balloon armies are the classic customer: Balloons are slow, and a chain of Haste spells turns a push that times out into one that finishes.

Frequently asked

What is the difference between Haste and Rage?

Haste only increases movement speed, while Rage increases both speed and damage. Haste is a dark spell and takes far less spell housing, so it is the efficient answer when your attacks are running out of time rather than failing to kill things.

Is Haste good for Balloons?

Yes, it is one of the standard pairings. Balloons are slow, so several cheap Haste spells chained across a push often convert an attack that would have timed out into a completed one.
