Rage Spell — Clash of Clans

Spells

Elixir

Updated: 18 September 2026 · By the Goblins Farm team

Rage increases the damage and movement speed of your troops inside its radius. It is the spell that converts a push which is nearly working into one that finishes, and it is wasted more often than any other spell in the game through simple mistiming.

What it does

Troops inside the circle deal more damage and move faster for the duration. The effect applies to whatever is inside at the time, so troops walking out of the circle stop benefiting immediately.

Rage does not stack usefully. Two Rage spells on the same group do not double the boost; overlapping them extends the covered area or the covered time, which is a different and much narrower use.

When to drop it

The rule is engaged, not walking. A Rage over troops crossing open ground is spent on movement you did not need.

Frequently asked

Do Rage Spells stack?

Not in strength. Two Rage spells on the same troops do not double the boost. Overlapping them only helps if you need a bigger covered area or a longer covered window, such as when a push must travel a long way through a base.

When should I use a Rage Spell?

When your troops are already engaged with something worth killing quickly, and slightly ahead of them so they move into the circle. Rage dropped while an army is walking across open ground is largely wasted.
