Defense

Updated: 18 September 2026 · By the Goblins Farm team

The Air Sweeper does no damage at all. It blows air units back in one direction, delaying them and disrupting timing. It faces one way, and pointing it at the wrong side is the single most common thing players get wrong about it.

What it does

Pushes air troops away in the direction it faces, repeatedly. That buys your Air Defenses seconds of extra fire and pushes healing air support out of position, which matters far more than a damage number would suggest.

Direction is everything

A correctly aimed Air Sweeper meaningfully improves your anti-air; a badly aimed one is a building that does nothing whatsoever.

Frequently asked

Does the Air Sweeper do damage?

None at all. It pushes air troops backwards in the direction it faces, which delays them, disrupts attack timing and gives your Air Defenses extra seconds of fire.

Which way should my Air Sweeper face?

Toward the side attackers actually come from, which you find by watching your defence replays. Rotating it is free, so re-check the direction after every layout change.
