Clan

The Clan Capital is a separate, collectively owned village made of districts, funded by capital gold that every member contributes. Raid Weekends are the attack mode built on top of it, and they run on rules that are unlike anything else in the game.

Capital gold and contribution

Capital gold is earned separately from your village economy and can only be spent on the Clan Capital. You cannot convert village gold into capital gold or the other way round, which means capital progress is genuinely a collective effort rather than something one rich member can carry.

Members contribute capital gold to specific upgrades, and upgrades complete when enough has been contributed. Two things worth knowing:

How Raid Weekend attacks work

Raid Weekends run on rules that catch out everyone who assumes they work like village attacks:

The carry-over rule is the important one strategically. A partial attack is not a wasted attack; it is groundwork. Clans coordinate by sending strong attackers to open a district and everyone else to finish it.

Raid medals

Raid medals are awarded based on the clan's raid performance and your own participation, and are spent in a shop that typically includes resources, boosts and items relevant to hero and research progress.

The same principle as league medals applies: buy time, not resources. A shop item that shortens a hero upgrade is worth considerably more than the equivalent in gold, because gold is the thing you can always go and get.

The practical advice for members is simply to use every raid attack, every weekend. Raid medals are one of the steadiest reward streams in the game and they cost you nothing but a few minutes.

Frequently asked

Can I convert capital gold into normal gold?

No. Capital gold is a separate currency that can only be spent on Clan Capital upgrades, and village resources cannot be converted into it either. That separation is deliberate, so capital progress reflects collective participation rather than one wealthy member.

Does damage carry over between Raid Weekend attacks?

Yes, and this is the most important rule in the mode. Destruction persists for the next attacker, so a partial attack is groundwork rather than a failure. Clans coordinate by having strong attackers open a district and others finish it.

What should I buy with raid medals?

Items that shorten upgrade and research timers, rather than raw resources. Resources can be farmed at any time; the timers on heroes and laboratory research are the real constraint on progress.
