Build 18.600.3: one new item, and seventeen spell pages we had wrong
Updated: 16 September 2026 · By the Goblins Farm team
The Portal Pendant arrives, Diggy gains five levels, and a fix to how we read the files corrects the Town Hall requirement on every spell in the game.
What the game changed
Two things, and both are additions rather than rebalances. Portal Pendant is new hero equipment, epic rarity, and it now has a page with its full ore curve. Diggy goes from 10 levels to 15, which is a meaningful change to how long that pet takes to finish and to what it costs in dark elixir.
No troop, spell, building or defence had its hitpoints, damage or cost altered between these two builds. That is worth saying plainly, because a quiet build is indistinguishable from a build nobody checked.
What we had wrong, and have fixed
This is the larger half of this post, and it is our error rather than Supercell's.
A spell's level 1 is unlocked by the factory that brews it — the Spell Factory, or the Dark Spell Factory — and every level after that by the Laboratory. Our parser read the Laboratory requirement for level 1 as well, which happened to agree with the game often enough that nothing looked wrong. In this build it stopped agreeing, loudly: the Angry Spell's first row started reporting Laboratory 1, and the site cheerfully published a dark elixir spell as a Town Hall 3 unlock.
Chasing that down showed the same fault was quietly wrong on every spell in the game. The Recall Spell was listed at Town Hall 3 and is Town Hall 13. The Totem Spell was listed at Town Hall 3 and is Town Hall 16. The Lightning Spell, the first spell anybody unlocks, was two Town Halls early. All seventeen are corrected, and the table below lists each one so you can check the new figure against your own village rather than taking our word for it.
The fix is in how the files are read, so it cannot drift back.
What we deliberately did not publish
This build also adds two units the wiki does not carry: the Totem Thrower and the Yeti Undertaker. Both are marked in the game files as event units — available for a limited window rather than as part of the permanent roster — and the wiki publishes the standard roster only.
Until this build that decision was made from a hand-kept list of names, which by definition cannot know about an event that has not shipped yet; both of these would have gone up as ordinary troops. It now reads the flag the game files already carry, so the next event handles itself.

Frequently asked
Do I need to redo my upgrade plan because of the spell corrections?
Only if you were planning around unlocking a spell earlier than you actually can. The corrections all move a spell's first level later, never earlier, so nothing you have already unlocked is affected. The research costs and times for levels 2 and up were always right.
Is the Portal Pendant worth building?
Its page carries the full level table and the total ore cost to max it. Whether it beats the equipment you already have is a judgement about your attack, and the equipment pages are the place for that rather than a patch note.
